Here is another one for you! A Shasta Compact notice the rock guard it will be replaced with a more period one. This one is in for some partial restoration, repair window and seals, repaint outside, repair some interior wall, new aluminum roof, corner molding, new roof vent, rewire trailer lights, new propane lines and on and on!
The window came out slow (butyl tape is tuff) - it's tough to pull away. Well Mark give it a pull! Not sure what Ken is focused on... They love their work.
All the windows, doors, light, and trim removed; what a day. That Travel Awning will be replaced; someone told them it was original. We will clean up that plumbing on the side; looks a little scary!

Well, we've removed most of the skin and it is more then just the back, but we can fix it.
This is the bottom side where the frame has been home to some "Little Critters".
This area around the wheel well is gone but, we will replace with bigger and better frame. Why not make it better?
In this photo you can't see it, everything is wet still wet but not for long! That shinny material looks like something off the Moon Rover.
The back corner is all but gone! Yes that is The Camper Man's hand, and yes they are insured. Tune in next time, when we will have the framing and interior wall replaced. Can't wait.

Well folks this photo isn't great; just wanted to show you how we remember where things go later on. This drawing is a “must have” item.

Ok, well here we go! Ken is now going to rebuild all the 1 x framing.
Ken has finished the front end. There wasn't one solid board there, but now it's back to normal. Ok! You can see the repair made to the side area; now to the rear. WOW!
Here is the back panel; Ken is heading to the table to rebuild this one. Ken is now test fitting the frame for the back. Looks great Ken!
This kind of looks like some scene from a disaster movie or something! Another angle looking towards the rear. Well, I think we'll be able to save her!
It is great to save the Shasta, but what is most important is that we are teaching young people to not be so disposable.
